create a plane cutting through the model where you intend to cut...use the trim or split tool to cut the surfaces into two pieces...delete the side in which you intend to create your section from...create a camera perpendicular to your section cut and create a 2-D drawing from the camera view you created.

rhino - section cut...
hi all...
im trying to cut a section in rhino, but i dont just need the line where it actuallys cuts it, but also the stuff in the background....
how can i cut a section with back ground, lines in elevation???
