I think almost any interview with Libeskind, Zaha, etc. will help illuminate the egos of architects ;)
But, to answer your question more seriously, there was an issue of "Perspecta" (the Yale Architectural Journal) called "Famous" that featured essays dealing with how fame and celebrity affects the work of architects. I know that is not exactly the same thing as "ego" (since non-famous architects can certainly be very egotistical as well), but there may be some related discussion that is helpful.
Architect's identity and individualism...Egos of architects
Hello Archinect!
Does anyone know of a book or article that discusses the egos of architects? And how their egos affect their designs and values?
Thank you!!!
