anybody out there know of a good mp3 editing software package? I need to make some fluid loops for a web site...
I would prefer to get software that is somewhat graphical as to make beat matching easier.
thanks..
yea protools is the best... but its heavy duty.. is like autocad + 3dSmax, but for music. also sometimes u need a card added to computer, and very expensive.
but:!! also, if u wanna be old school, dig through the crates-- buy some old records, get a mpc60, sample and make some cool beats.
wheres the art! would u guys use microsoft paint to design a building?
lol.. jus playin
WavePad is free, and it's very easy to use.
If you register it (with fee) it also lets you save audio format to cd. http://nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html
it depends what you want to do, really. do you need to edit, produce, record? if you want to produce something, get Propellerheads Reason; it is far superior to Fruityloops. If you want to record, get Cubase; it can connect to Reason via ReWire which is great for combining loops with long recorded tracks. If you just want to edit an existing track, soundforge is pretty solid. If you plan on creating a loop for Flash, it may take a lot of tweaking before you create a good loop that doesn't click or pop while looping.
Music editing software?
