Anyone using Architectural Desktop 2004 with the built in VIZ?

duluoz

Is there a good tutorial out there, or book/manual...
I'm used to using Form Z, but this is what our office has just bought. No one knows whats going on & it has fallen on me to figure this thing out. A few things I can't figure out: scaling materials, finding the material 'glazing', changing properties of materials (color, etc.)... just when i think i've stumbled upon what seems to be the place to do these things, it doesn't seem to work...

help!
thanks...

it is very similar to autodesk viz 4. however a lot of the funcitionality is pared back. the rendering engine is basically the same(definitely use radiosity).

scale materials with texture scaling in the material editor, or apply a uvw map and scale there. all materials are accessed through the materials palette. start materials in the scratch palette, right click and go to properties to bring up the material editor. since you are coming from formz a lot of options are accessed through the right click menu.
