my friend eric chavkin has the most interesting books on architecture, art, film and criticism. he is a connoisseur and curator of books. he knows his stuff and has a great sense for them but not like a librarian.
Thanks Orhan. But I give due credit to my ex-wife Alison who was one of the great art librarians in North America and one the most knowledgeable librarians in the world on film.

floating stages
hi all!
i am looking for precedents of floating stages. the best ones i've found so far are these:
bregenz festival, austria:
han river, seoul:
the float, marina bay, singapore:
havnescenen, copenhagen:
crane's roost lake, florida:
can anyone help me with some more good-looking examples? cheers!
what about the louis kahn music barge?
I agree with le bossman, take a look at point counterpoint. Its more of a boat, but still...
Is this for the Floating Stage competition?
I have a book on various schemes for a floating performing arts center on Lake Zurich. About a dozen entries. BW photos of models, drawings plans.

what is the name of the book? is it available on amazon.com?
No, I have the only copy. $45 plus shipping. I sell architecture books.
