is there a command similar to the stretch command in autocad for grouped objects?

you can just select the object, group, lines, whatever, and then without changing tools pull (stretch) the object out from the corner
(when the mouse pointer changes to an angled arrow). holding down shift while pulling will constrain the stretch the vertical or horizontal (or a 30 or 45 degree angle).

if it's a particular shape, that shape will naturally distort. pulling the corners of an object, group, or line basically works the same way as the autocad stretch command.

how can you extend numerous lines using a fence similar to autocad?

like above, you can just select all the lines together and pull them up to the line you want them to meet. or pull them beyond that line if they're different lengths, then use the trim command to cut them into two and delete the remains.

fence doesn't exist in vectorworks.

Select all the lines you want to extend, then uce the connect tool and hold down the option key at the same time and all of them will extend to the chosen line or arc.
