Architectural License

If a degree is not accredited in the US, does it mean that it's not recognised outside either? Does anyone know a good, affordable program to follow by distance/online?

Here is where you should start your research:

fizashaikh,

If it isn't NAAB accredited... it may or may not be recognized outside the U.S. You need to consult the licensing authority of the country or place within that country you want to practice. They may accept a non-NAAB accredited Architecture degree such as a pre-professional but may require additional experience. I can not give specific advice on any given country or jurisdiction having authority within that country.

NCARB is useless information for getting licensed outside the U.S.

If you seek to apply a foreign degree to get licensed in U.S., you'll probably need an EESA evaluation and so forth. BEFA would probably be your path to get licensed. It is a different scenario altogether.

The NAAB link above can provide you insight on what programs are NAAB accredited and through research, you can find which ones offer distance / online programs or hybrid solutions.

You decide...
