How come finding a job as a student its sooo hard?
I'm a drafter and have the experience working with successful Architects. I am so grateful for what they taught me. But got laid off and it's been soooo hard to find what I had. I decided to go back to school to pursue my Architecture Degree, but the rush from homework now is not the same as the rush from deadlines and seeing projects developing from scratch.........it's a really SLOW process but I feel like I'm learning backwards =S considering my previous experience........I need to hear "Would you like to work for me?".........I meant words of wisdom .....
Are you serious with this f' ing thread? Is your head so far up your ass that you honestly have no idea that the profession is imploding and the overall lack of jobs has left many skilled and experienced people destitute for any position that they can get, including crappy, low-paying drafting positions? Have you not read any of the other discussion threads on here about the miserable state the industry is in with very little in the sign of recovery to happen anytime in the near future? How long have you been unemployed for exactly? A couple of days? Well boo-hoo. Jesus.
I want to work for you!!!! =D
