intelligent architecture

abhilasha

can architecture respond to change?
if change is believed to be constant,do the architecture we are building follows this law? i mean architecture not only sensible but intelligent enough to respond and act to the changes.
not going too philosophical, but are there ways or sources by which yielding energy can become principle of any structure yet its functionality not getting hindered.
is there any research or thesis done yet??
are there people out there who are thinking out of the box!!!!

i m dying to know more about it and people who are taking such steps.

Emergent Technologies and Design: Towards a Biological Paradigm for Architecture by Michael Hensel

This could be a good resource for you although it may maintain too great a distance from "actual" building tectonics for your needs.

Intelligence isnt just a responsiveness and can be found in material, added bits of information, or applied forces.

This is the dumbest question on archinect in weeks. Yet it managed to get a number of bites.

I don't know who to weep for more, the clueless poster, or the thoughtful responders.

"are there people out there who are thinking out of the box!!!!"

No!!! Now shut up.
