I am trying to do a quick comparative visual study of contemporary Russian architecture. Anyone know of some sites/blogs that might have such a survey? Thanks in advance…
The post is too vague to make a useful recommendation. It would be easier if you explained in greater detail what exactly you are trying to explore.
In any case, links to two most popular Russian architectural sites are below. Each would be a good place to start. I also recommend checking websites of individual architectural offices. Feel free to contact me with more questions.
there is a new school that opened in moscow, russia
http://www.strelkainstitute.com/en/ organized by Rem and AMO, they are studying the changes in russia in architecture and urban planning. Maybe writing to them would help.
Speaking of Russian Constructivists, Zaha Hadid (who studied under Rem) was greatly influenced by them, namely Malevich (her thesis project was "Malevich's Tectonic").
Contemporary Russian architecture, like everywhere, is more international than local. The archinect name list is similar to any other developing area, whether it be China or Dubai.

Thanks vi_d- the recommendations that you posted were very helpful. Are you in Russia at the moment practicing as an architect?
No, I am currently practicing in the US. However I still have a very strong connection with architectural community in Russia.
