Stillwell Avenue Terminal, the world's largest above-ground transit terminal and the gateway to Coney Island, was reconstructed from 2001 to 2005. Kiss + Cathcart were the architects for the new solar glass train shed, which covers the majority of the platforms. When built, the project was the world's largest Building Integrated Photovoltaic thin film structure.
