Kiskey Whiskey

Located in Ashok Cosmos Mall, Agra “Kiskey Whiskey” gives a pepped ambiance that attracts major elated sector of the youth who love socializing, partying and have an affinity for nightclub culture.  Kiskey Whiskey, as the name suggests, is a luscious space designed especially for jubilant gentry. With its divergent style and powerful colour scheme throughout, the place is extensively bold yet elegant in its own way. It can be extremely subtle and superfluous at the same time, depending upon where the eye of the patron is directed. Every element of the space is eye-catching showing its own distinctive sense of style.

The design brief of the project was to create an entertainment venue for locals as well as tourists coming to the city to experience its rich heritage. The idea was to provide a quality experience for tourists and locals alike.

One enters into the place through a 30ft long lobby flanked by waiting area on one side and a railing overlooking the mall onto the other. Black and grey terrazzo flooring with brass strips give an evident idea of the space’s overall interiors at the inception itself. Entry is made into a set-up for photo ops with large armchairs and antique accessories creating a unique ornate look for the patrons upon entering.

The overall space is divided into 3 parts with no physical partition but by separate levels, granting a seamless, comprehensive and a picture-perfect look. The first thing that draws the attention of the visitor is the 43ft long bar with white onyx countertop leading up to a colossal ceiling cladded with mirrors giving an infinite look to the space. The bar back is made in wood with brass detail giving it an ornamental look. A crown moulding runs along with the mesh on the front. The intricacy gives a more defined look to the dim-lit bar.

In order to create a multifaceted space, an eclectic circular column has been inculcated in the center of the space imbibing the attention of the arriving ones. The column is cladded with mirrors. A radial flooring patterned with black Marquino, white Statuario, and grey William meanders around the column. Lighting in this area has also been placed in a radial pattern with I beams form fabricated in MS sheet and dimmable LEDs creating an unruly look altogether. Wainscot and moulding run up to 4ft of height on the walls. The place gives an artistic feel with its rich wooden detailing. Leather strap ceiling is provided to conceal AC ducts Rest of the ceiling is exposed to giving a modern yet raw feel.

Special attention is given to the lighting. Decorative lights; designed by The Hesperus, Mumbai are used for this interior space. Vintage collection of glass tube and brass, triangular glass prisms are instilled into the design for the guests to have an exquisite experience.

Further on, one may take notice of the spacious balcony with elaborate seating set up and a hookah booth. Ledge seating is bestowed in the balcony. Keeping the rest of the balcony lowkey, it is infused with suspended lights by Mother Gone Mad. Having handpainted images of Mughal architecture, motifs and different patterns, these lights are the most distinguishing feature of the expanse that causes the space to have a chic yet an uprise character.

Keeping in mind the new age trends of restaurant and lounges, Kiskey Whiskey not only offers an unconventional setting but also gives a heterogeneous essence of a dining space. It assures its users an exuberant experience worth savoring.
