With Studios Architecture

The project is located off-campus on a steep upslope site in the residential neighborhood of Westwood. Without directly mimicking either, the design honors both the Los Angeles tradition of dense courtyard housing and the nearby iconic works of Richard Neutra.

The sometimes boisterous life of undergraduates is contained within a series of linked courts that step up the hill. Entries and common areas bring life to these richly landscaped courts.

The Glenrock Undergraduate Student Apartments is our second UCLA student housing project done in collaboration with Studios Architecture. Daniel Solomon Design Partners is leading the design and collaborating with Studios on the later phases of the work.
