Brooklyn, NY
Founded in 1978, this 800-seat restaurant is frequented by multi-generational Chinese families and LES hipsters alike. After more than 30 years’ of use, the front entrance needed a re-fresh. We combined a modern design sensibility with traditional materials and colors to create a bold, graphic treatment that reflects the festive spirit of the authentic Cantonese cuisine served within. A weathered brick base gives durability to this extremely high-traffic area, while the glossy red brick above announces one of New York’s top meeting places for Dim Sum.
