A new ten story with a concrete plank and concrete masonry unit structural system. The construction of a new 10 story building with a full cellar in compliance with the 2014 New York City Building Code. The new building will consist of 60 studio units and Eight 1-bedroom units for a total of 68 units encompassing 42,154 square feet. The 60 studio units will be supportive housing in conjunction with the New York City Department of Housing, Preservation and Development's Supportive Housing Loan Program. The new building will have one elevator, one trash chute, a Fire Alarm system, a full coverage Fire Sprinkler system, an Auxiliary Radio Communication System. The heating and cooling will be provided by a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system. The domestic hot water will be provided by a dedicated hot water boiler with storage tanks. The site work will include rock removal, partial soil remediation and Support of Excavation. The building will meet the requirements of the 2015 Enterprise Green Communities program
