The “art barn,” as it is called, is the stunning result of collaboration between two builders and an architect with whom they have worked for years. When undertaking their own project, the identical twin brothers from Hungary turned to Case Development’s Greg Sharp to design their ideal Southampton, New York getaway.

An accessory building to the main house on this five-acre site, the art barn functions as a guest house and art gallery/play space for the duo who love art and socializing with friends. The building is a clean, cubic structure built upon a foundation that was poured by a previous owner but never developed. Starting with the large front entrance, the interior is designed to encourage the unrestricted flow of guests throughout the space. The upper floor is used mainly for gatherings and entertaining, while the lower floor offers private bedrooms, a den and a patio.
