The project of restoration has interested the central sculpture and the great tub that surrounds this icon of water representated by a fishstars built in the years 1924 for the opening of Apulian Aqueduct.. The urban area had only a characteristic functional as a traffic rounabout losting its emotional aspect. The starfish sculpture made on reinforced concrete was totally degraded with various parts missing. The same for the great tube and the green area that as a ring filtered the whole architecture.The project of restoration has saved the ancients stones that was at the base of the monument. These were made by Trani Bronze stone and was the original aspect of the site. We had recovered the starfish sculpture trought a work of cleaning and rebuilding. The project has create a new ring where wasthe green area, trought a depth excavation with a new natural element defined from the water that overflowing from the great tub trought six cuts that remebered the Lucio Fontana art work and link the entire architecture. Six pause made as an invite to the monument create twentyfour water jets that enter in the central tub defining a continue moving of this natural element conected to the sculpture and architecture of the square, trought the the icon of the Water.
