Founded in 2012 after two decades of experience in traditional, residential architecture, Charlotte Worthy Architects maintains a small, creative firm taking only a select group of projects each year to ensure that the principals remain actively involved in each project to a greater degree. Partnered with William Mincey, CWA has been an incubator for young architects interested in a mentorship with Charlotte and William; an immersive education working side by side with the two principals, senior architects and managers. With the support of devoted patrons, decorators and interior designers, great projects came to the firm quickly. 2023 was the Tenth Anniversary of CWA. Charlotte and William look back to appreciate a large body of wonderful projects and a family of devoted clients, colleagues and artisans who are the driving force of the firm’s inspiration and success. Upholding the standards of the profession, both technical & creative, but most importantly, striving for a greater perfection with each project is what defines the firm.
