Approaching the project through a biomimetic lens, Urban Habitat is inspired by the evolutionary responses developed by the Pacific Blue Mussel.  Like the Mussel, the project intends to respond to its dynamic environment and benefit from the shared communal environment in which the residential units create.

Located on 4th St. SW and 10 Ave. SW, the project expropriates a parking garage that backs onto a train-yard, adjacent to the downtown core of Calgary.
