Challenged with creating a suitable family house for four, two children and two adults, this project conforms to Vancouver's recently created Laneway Housing bylaws. The design restriction inherent with the bylaw include an allowable floor area of only 57.5 m2. The circulation core is located centrally, bringing light deep within the centre of the building allowing for a larger volumetric sensation. One washroom is broken into 3 components, allowing for greater functionality and usability.
