I see architecture as a process of transforming vision into tangible space, where every detail contributes to a larger narrative. My work is driven by an abiding curiosity for materials and commitment to sustainability, with the goal of creating environments that are purposeful and intentional. Balancing functionality with narrative, I view each project as a chance to merge careful detailing with creative expression.
Architectural visualization is my language of communication; collages, renderings, and photomontages serve as instruments for transforming concepts into active realities. Beyond architecture, my passion for painting and modern art informs my exploration of atmosphere and emotion, ultimately enriching the way I design and experience space.
Piovenefabi, Milan, IT, Architectural Intern
This internship enhanced my technical skills and provided a comprehensive understanding of architectural design processes and teamwork in a professional setting.
• Worked with the founder, Giovanni Piovene, on diverse projects, including interior design, exhibition spaces, and custom furniture
• Participated in project workflows, balancing multiple tasks while gaining insight into client interaction and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Coordinated with manufacturers to obtain material and production estimates
• Produced drawings in AutoCAD, photomontages using Adobe Photoshop, and physical models to communicate design ideas effectively to clients
• Drafted plans, elevations, and facade layouts for projects using AutoCAD, ensuring precision and clarity in documentation
Aksa.doo, Zenica, BA, Architectural Assistant
This experience deepened my expertise in architectural design and provided valuable insight into adapting historical structures for contemporary needs, restraints and building regulations.
• Contributed to high-rise and adaptive reuse projects, including facade designs, seismic retrofitting, and mixed-use layouts by working closely with the studio's founder Zvjezdan Turkic, senior architects and engineering team
• Produced detailed plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD and Photoshop
• Developed façade design options and produced high-quality renders to effectively communicate concepts, complemented by client presentations in PowerPoint
• Modeled existing structures in SketchUp and collaborated on proposals for seismic retrofitting and mixed-use redesigns
• Gained practical experience in site surveying, advanced modeling, and critical client interaction while refining time management and decision-making skills
Politecnico di Milano, Milano, IT, MArch, Architecture and Urban Design
At Politecnico di Milano, I collaborated with a diverse group of students, integrating various cultural perspectives into the design process. My focus was on Architecture and Urban Design, where each project began with in-depth context analysis (history, culture, and contemporary needs) and progressed to detailed design solutions.
Notable Projects:
• Thematic Studio
Designed a diffused theater using concentric paths to connect and activate the ruins for cultural events in Cirella
• Design Studio
In collaboration with students of Zhejiang University, China, analyzed vernacular architecture and proposed modern adaptations that preserved cultural heritage
• Architecture for Human Space Exploration
Worked in a multidisciplinary team to design solutions for future human habitats in space
For my master's thesis, "From Kera to Chora", I examined overtourism in Santorini, proposing sustainable architectural solutions to balance tourism with local culture on the neighboring island Thirasia.

Feb 2023 - Jul 2023Feb 2023 - Jul 2023
During my Erasmus+ exchange at NTUA, I had the opportunity to expand my architectural knowledge and develop my master's thesis, "From Kera to Chora", which focused on sustainability in tourism-heavy areas like Santorini and Thirasia. The field research I conducted during my travels enriched my perspective and informed my thesis.
I completed three courses during this period:
• Plastic Art
• Architectural Morphology
• History and Theory of Contemporary Architecture
I achieved the highest grade (10) in the Greek system, which deepened my understanding of architecture and its cultural context.
My exploration of modern Greek heritage, particularly the Xenia Hotels designed by Aris Konstantinidis, shaped my research on the intersection of architecture and tourism. The visit to the Xenia Hotel in Nafplio supported my critical analysis of the modern Greek architectural legacy in my earlier paper "The Golden Age of Tourism in Greece."
The University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture., Sarajevo, BA, BArch, Architecture and Urban Planning
During my Bachelor's in Architecture, I acquired fundamental knowledge in architectural design, urban planning, and the preservation of cultural heritage. I developed skills in spatial and graphical representation, manual drawing techniques using traditional equipment, and creating precise architectural drawings. Through courses in architectural construction, building technologies, and structural systems, I gained a solid understanding of construction processes and materials. I worked extensively with design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp, preparing detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
Notable projects:
• Design Studio 1
Designing a personalized family home with a focus on site analysis, urban context, and user-specific needs
• Design Studio 3
Designing a mixed-use residential building, exploring residential typologies in both low-rise and multi-story structures
• Design Studio 5
Repurposing an industrial building to serve as an innovation center
