E4H provided planning and design services for the last remaining vacant space in the 4-story MOB, owned by MGH. This project created six clinical practices: Urology, GI Surgery, Weight Center, PT/OT, Orthopedics/Sports Medicine, and Medical Specialties. These clinics share an existing multi-story central atrium, elevator banks, and public toilets. Two shared entrances were provided, with access to large waiting areas where each clinic has a dedicated reception desk. The dense space plan leverages shared clinical infrastructure and staff support spaces across the floor and throughout the building whenever possible. Specific clinical components are 66 exam rooms, 2 digital x-ray rooms, 9 treatment rooms, 16 PT bays, 4 OT hand tables, an open neurology gym, a functional/rehab sports gym, a group room, and 1 patient-of-size exam room.
