Founded by architect Yinian Dou, DYN Architecture is a Shanghai-based architecture design studio. 

During the last half-century, Chinese cities underwent a drastic urbanization period, and about half of China population now lives in cities. How to improve the quality of living and working through the micro-scale urban revitalization in the densely built urban centres becomes the main focus. Actively responding to the current urban issues, DYN Architecture focuses on architecture renovation projects: they have designed and transformed 12 aged buildings to co-working spaces in Shanghai and Hangzhou, and participated in Urban Design and community events. A building should not stand along but respond to its urban context and community. DYN Architecture will continue contributing to urban revitalization through architecture interventions.
