Located in Ventura, California; a venue for an electronic dance music with multi-use spaces for art and cultural galleries as well as a restuarant. With the hope of honing in on the mild climate located in Southern California, this design was inspired by an idea of open air and shade structures with a very Malibu-esqe feel. A guest will enter the main space of the building where they will have shots of the rest of the hillside and the ocean. As they circulate through the space, they will have opportunities to view the galleries and sit down at the restaurant. There is also a black box theater located on this main floor for small opening acts or live pieces that are a part of the galleries. Below this main space, is the main stage. The audience will make their way underground to attend the live EDM performances.
