Drift, an Exploratory Venue

This project was a charette that focused on the flow of music, I looked at the rise and flow of a song, where one might find a moment of pause and a moment of movement. This pavilion begins with a precession down the hill. A user will first enter the spaces of solitude and confinement, ordering them to pause. As they continue on, they will reach spaces that force them to move throughout the spaces. The desire to move is brought about by the openings in the roofs where light dances in through the space. They continue along this path, going through several moments of pause and moments of movement until they finally reach their destination where the light wells drift off to an opening in the space to reach the final view.
