The design of the second location of Banchet Flowers, located on 16th Street in West Chelsea.
Description:
This project entailed the renovation of the new Banchet Flowers, following their relocation from Gansevoort Street to 16th Street. In keeping with our design of the original location, we sought to maintain the multi-sensory experience of this luxury floral environment. A large cable structure was also introduced to the space as a new sculptural element. Emerging from within the black brick floor, the cables form a column which expands overhead, creating a delicate canopy and recalling the geometric complexity of a tree.
