"SUMMER HOUSE" is a 90sqm one-level house model, ment to be constructed by timber frame wooden construction.
The basic idea is to "bring" the sun light to the inside area and "free" the view to the outside. Only the north elevation is closed, where the main entrance is placed, and that is to protect from the weather from the north.
To succed the desired conection between the inside and outside area, we propose all the closed spaces of the house (the bathrooms for example), to be placed in a "box" at the center of the house-plan witch is surrounded by the main functions (bedrooms, living room etc) that are sepperated only with glass doors from the outside. This way, we succed the desired connection to the outdoor areas that become part of the house function, something that we believe is very important for a summer house.
