We have a significant reputation in providing technical solutions that have led to the completion of projects of notable design and quality, while still working within strict confinements of time and budget.
We have an experimental and artisanal attitude of mind - one alien to that found within most commercial offices. We always strive to go beyond the norm with the aim to deliver inventively rich design solutions. CRAB only works on a limited number of projects to ensure the Director has direct involvement. The studio consists of a core of globally experienced architects and designers and is led by Director Gavin Robotham.
CRAB projects are grounded in extensive research and this enables us to develop dynamically rich proposals where the relationship between the user and place is a key driving force. CRAB believes in the ability of architecture to go beyond the resolution of function– to inspire and create a place connected to the particular context.
