Cultural contents including building, art forms, historic towns and cities and communities are most commonly seen as a commodity for tourism and business. Cultural resources are woven with people in their practices, belief systems, in their daily activities and that surviving association is important as it has its own value. Hence, as a team of conservators, we believe in the values of the resources and will be working on the development without disturbing the values of the heritage. Conservation Mainstream aims to work on strategies and management plans for the cultural resources in a more responsive way that will bring a change in the perspective of looking at the heritage.
