Ordered by the Chinese IT firm WIOT and designed by Korean design firm CA PLAN, the Mulryeonmang experience center opened in Foshan, Guangdong, China, in April 2010. This experience center is a space where visitors can experience state-of-art technologies for building a smart city through synesthetic media interface and interactive technology. In comparison to existing typical experience centers, what makes this center unique is that, by applying a smart agent technology, the center maximized the flexibility of experience and simultaneously detects and categorizes the information related to the people enjoying the experience to provide information suitable for them. Such system was enabled by combining various media and building a new type of experience interface. Also, the optical technology which was integrated into the space design creates the sensation as if visitors are floating in the virtual space.
