Design proposal for Lake Victoria Resort, Kigo, Uganda, a 240 key 4* Hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria. 

The Hotel is designed in a contemporary fortress theme as per the client's brief, and is cut into the steep slope to minimise its visual impact seen from the lake.

The gradient has enabled service spaces to be tucked behind the public spaces with public and private vertical circulation separated. This has enabled the public spaces to access the spectacular views, with a suspended internal bridge, a multi-volume landscaped atrium and boutique restaurants and bar completing the offering.

The design includes Vice Presidential and Presidential Suites, full conference facilities with Ballroom, Meeting Rooms and Boardrooms, as well as a function terrace.Other amenities include a private guest gym and guest spa.
