To kick of my school blog carreer, I will just deliver you some essential on the web if you want to study or are already studying in Delft.
If you want to have a room/living space in Delft try the DUWO it is a Dutch student housing organisation. Rooms for rent are offered here (most information is in Dutch but also some English) For more extensive English information go here
Delft is famous for its rich student life and this is certainly true for the Architecture Faculty which counts over 3500 students.
From parties to lectures and workshop go to Stylos, the Architecture Student Association. The site is mostly Dutch but you can always drop by their 'office' on the second floor left of the main entrance. Another interesting more internationaly oriented organisation is Argus still a relatively young organisation but very open for intiatives and ideas from 'outside' (with other words, from you).
Outside the Faculty you should look at Archined (push the 'switch to english' button on the top left), it is THE Dutch architecture portal whith extensive news and an agenda packed with events and exhibitions to go to. It also has a database with offices looking for interns and other job vacancies. The most interesting lectures usually are at the Berlage Institute (events>lectures).
anyway, this should give you a good start with your time in Delft I think.
