BAC Founding Week: Celebrating the Past, Present and Future

On December 11, 1889, The Boston Architectural College was founded as the Boston Architectural Club by a group of young and established local architects. The BAC's founders envisioned the Club would provide encouragement and support to those interested in the profession of architecture through public lectures, exhibitions, classes, as well as social gatherings and discussions.

To celebrate the BAC's founding and our more than 130 years of impact in design education, The Boston Architectural College is launching a new tradition: BAC Founding Week.

BAC Founding Week will be a robust set of virtual activities bringing together staff, faculty, students, alumni, and friends to celebrate our many achievements. It is an important occasion for the whole community to be together, to do things together, and to pause and reflect on and honor those who invested in the College’s beginnings.

Please save the date and plan to join us for one, two, or all our virtual events! Click here for more information.
