We are thrilled to announce that Denise Rush, BAC faculty and dean of interior architecture, has been inducted into the 2021 ASID College of Fellows.

The ASID College of Fellows is the Society’s ultimate honor. Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship are bestowed upon ASID members who have made significant contributions to their profession, the interior design community at large, and ASID as an organization. Through these programs, ASID seeks to celebrate those propelling the interior design world forward and showcase the incredible accomplishments of those changing the world through design.

Recipients of the ASID College of Fellows were honored and recognized with a ceremony during the Virtual Conference on July 19-23, 2021.

“This truly is the honor of a lifetime, as less than 1% of ASID professional members are given this honor,” said Rush. “The ASID New England chapter nominating me means that my peers and the College of Fellows have recognized my dedication and contribution to the profession throughout my career and deemed me worthy of this selective honor.”

Rush was inducted into the College of Fellows alongside Jeff Smoler, ASID; Kay Sargent, ASID, LEED AP, WELL AP; Toni Wyre, ASID; and honorary fellow, Paula Wallace, founder and president of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
