Hotel Garbi was just round the corner from our apartment and is stunning! As seen in some of the images I have attached, the building seems to have taken a modern approach to the typical spanish building. Keeping some similar features such as materiality, render and scale and adding a new lease of life by introducing the curved exterior. I feel this approach has worked very well however because of the subtlety of it, the curves are not an eye sore and by keeping some of the similar features it blends in well between all the existing architecture.
