This historic church in Highland Park was in serious need of some love. It had sat unused for years, except for occasional punk squatter parties in the basement. It needed a full renovation to become the beautiful event space it is today. It needed many repairs and a fresh coat of white paint with dark trim and red doors to modernize it's half timber aesthetic. The neon sign was added as a signal that it now lives a new life from it's previous use as a church. All interior wood floors were refinished, and full length velvet curtains were hung to dived the space. A new kitchen was added and vintage mid century stained glass brass chandeliers were an ebay find by the stylish project manager. String lights, shade sails and a lawn make the backyard a perfect party space.
