Qatari single family villas are designed under some specific requirements with roots in the tradition of the Middle East, one of them being the importance they pay to living room area/s. The living rooms are conceived as large halls with plenty of space to sit (way more than the family can use), as well as heavily decorated and finished with high quality marble, wood, curtains and other decorating elements. The main purpose being the use of the area for welcoming guests and organizing events. 

While designing the villa plans and interiors, I got to understand the special requirements and the result was a project that not only fulfilled the physical specifics of the spaces, but also offered a luxurious and traditional approach.
