In this project we were incentivized to create a "radical" addition to the Princeton campus. This project focuses on seclusion through structure. This seclusion gradually increases the higher up the building you go. The ground floor is open, allowing for circulation in all directions inviting people into the space. These vertical wood columns not only hold up these wood platforms but create a feeling of walking through a forest. Solid walls also create a separation from circulation and interior space while also creating an envelope.
