The façade design idea is to shape the building volume with pleasing proportion and rhythm, solid to void relationship and materiality.
The arrangement of the house allowed the main spaces are facing inner courtyard and openings facing landscape area at the front and back of the plot. This creates the privacy to the house without compromise the penetration of natural daylight and ventilation into internal area. The water feature which incorporates with landscaping at inner courtyard, plays an important role to create a strong focal point for the main space of the house. It also provides passive cooling with breeze blow through when the windows are open at living, dining, family area, and bedrooms.
