Interface design for on-demand aerial delivery in urban environments, connecting hospitals, clinics, labs, and pharmacies in the world through drone and logistics technology.
Head of Design: Ido Baruchin
Interaction Design: Andrew Chee and Yumi Nakamura
Matternet Terminal is a tablet application that serves as a lab technician's primary interface for authenticating, scheduling, sending and receiving deliveries.
Invited to collaborate by Ido Baruchin, via Marc Shillum, I in turn invited Yumi Nakamura to join me on the full interface redesign.
The interface included all states of Send and Receive flows, cobranded explorations for future applications, and ultimately a set of functional prototypes that simulated a typical routine from start to finish, a QR code reader for badge and payload authentication, and a foundation for user interface components including motion and sound, for use in product development and the video above, in less than 2 weeks.
