The Escola da Dança de Oporto is located on the banks of the Douro River, a very significant and representative place of Porto. Inspired by the topography of the place, the complexity of the pieces that make up the urban landscape of Porto and the importance of the roof, a new piece carved for the city is created.

This carved piece goes through different phases in its creation process, from the fragmentation and inclination of the spaces, to the visuals generated from the interior to the river.
The urban element of the staircase is associated as a method of connection between the unevenness of the lower and upper streets. In addition, it is intended to give the citizen a vision of the journey through it, being able to contemplate the different spaces that make up the dance school.

These spaces are connected in section, which in a staggered way, descend like a waterfall, over the set of pieces that make up the carved form.
