The aim of this project was to understand the making process of certain professions and to design a workshop and exhibition space to house and showcase the work of these professions.

For my studio we had been given the profession of furniture maker and so over the course of this project, understanding the furniture making process will be a key aspect in creating a building to reflect this process.

Furniture is an everyday necessity used by the human form, yet when purchasing it one never thinks of the hard work behind the making of it, that is why and initial investigation on what they do, what they need and how they work is a major necessity in moving forward with the project.
