create a composition of squares on the two small surfaces and on two opposing large surfaces of the given volume. build a model of the given envelope, using museum board, and cut the squares into the surfaces. now connect the squares, enclosing the connections on all four sides.
the design relies on the idea of having intimate spaces on the outside and public spaces on the inside underlined by small and large squares. each square is then connected to its equal on the other side, creating a central core as a consequence in which they all meet.
