I chose to explore the theme of ecotourism for my diploma year. The end product was Dalnahaitnach Forest Learning Centre & Ecotourism Community. This project reflects many of my architectural interests; eco-architecture, Scottish vernacular, construction details, community identity, social responsibility in architecture, materiality, passive design, lighting, and masterplanning at every level.
