This project was an architect’s dream; a small departmental library for the Catholic University in the small Bavarian City of Eichstatt in Germany. I enjoyed exploring relationships between the city and the student, looking at the materiality of the surroundings and the student’s need to look introspectively while studying in a rich architectural environment.
