Øresundskollegiet is a student dormitory located south of Copenhagen on the island of Amager.  This project demanded a full redesigning of the dormitory's outdoor spaces, which have been abandoned or under construction for decades.  My project targeted gaps in connectivity and way-finding, and made significant landscape improvements in order to soften and integrate the stoic modern architectural style of the residential towers.  Very careful consideration of the effects of sunlight and shadow guided the design process, as light is a very powerful catalyst in Northern European design.
