Mustang Village is the first new housing on the Western New Mexico University campus in decades. The apartment style housing is made up of 4 and 5 private bedroom units with private or semi-private bathrooms and shared living spaces. All of the apartments have stunning eastern views over Silver City, New Mexico and the Gila Mountains. The complex is made up of three buildings housing a total of 228 students. The first apartments were opened in 2013, and the entire complex is expected to receive LEED certification--the first LEED certified buildings on the WNMU campus.
