UPA Italia was founded in 2009 by Architects Paolo Lettieri  and Aswan Zubaidi as “the Italian signature of the UPA group” especially to develop the high-quality architecture and complexity of engineering, master planning, concept design and interior design. 

UPA, Urbanism Planning Architecture, is an established international architectural firm based in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Milano (Italy), and Baghdad (Iraq) since 2006.

In the short time since its foundation, UPA has won and carried on important and prestigious projects. Thanks to the support of a team of professionals and consultant partners, UPA is able to develop and carry out complex and articulated architecture and engineered projects.

UPA in recent years has consolidated its expertise in the following areas: masterplan and urban design, healthcare, education, sports and leisure, wellness and SPA, auditoriums, restaurants, hospitality, mixed-use developments, residential buildings, villas and interior design.

UPA has received commissions of design and development of various projects in United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, Russia and Italy.

UPA offers a wide range of services: architecture, interior design, master planning, engineering, due diligence, management and site construction management.

Paolo Lettieri, Italian Architect with more than 20 years of experience in International Projects, is the Principal Architect of the Firm.
