I am Ruonan Liu, a Master of Architecture student from Washington University in St. Louis and applying for summer internship.

Professionally, last summer, I worked as an architectural intern for Junya Ishigami Association, where I participated from the schematic design phase to the design development phase. I was in charge of the Collective Housing and Church design, providing several options of design for the client, making study models, renderings, sections, and helping other colleagues finish every submission. I learned a lot from my last internship and this experience can be very helpful to my future career.

Academically, while working on academic design studios and extracurricular projects, I have developed proven critical thinking, creative thinking skills for architectural concept designs. I designed projects of various scales from single-family house to urban planning. Moreover, I have also learned how to use various kinds of software to express professional drawings which contributes to the teamwork during design process.
