The new base, located in the first block east of the Oriental Pearl Tower, completes the urban space and enhances Pearl Park's prominence, strengthening the landmark status of the Oriental Pearl Tower. The Lujiazui slow-moving system links various urban areas, including office, commercial, sightseeing, and leisure spaces, with the Lujiazui Ring Bridge serving as a key pedestrian connector. The newly completed Pudong Art Museum offers convenient walking access to both the riverside and city green spaces, although connections between the Oriental Pearl Tower, Aquarium, and Binjiang remain weak. Relocating the Port Authority Building will improve these connections, forming an interconnected slow-moving system with an "8" loop.
